Hi! My name is Sigal and I've been tutoring higher level math and business courses for almost a decade.

I have a degree in Business Economics with an Accounting Emphasis and Math Minor from UCSB. I have worked as a financial analyst and as an auditor, and I passed all of the CPA exams in 2017. However, my primary passion is sharing knowledge and helping students succeed.

I have always loved math, and I strive to make complex subject matter accessible to all types of students. I am thoroughly engaged during a lesson, and I feel invested in my students' success. My goal is to help students gain more understanding of the subjects, while also developing the confidence and skills necessary to perform well on their exams. My lessons are tailored to each individual's learning style, and I adjust as needed to make sure I am presenting the material in a way the student will find easiest to process and retain.

I have experience tutoring all ages and backgrounds, including students with learning differences and adults returning to pursue higher education.
